Before you start work on your own poems, I recommend reading this obituary for poet Tomas Transtromer, who died this past Thursday at his home in Stockholm, Sweden. He won the 2011 Nobel Prize for Literature. As extra incentive to read this article, know that the foundation for one of the May Exam essay questions appears in this obituary.
