learning goal: recognize and implement lessons from Quickmarks on previous PDF (original sonnet)

SPECIAL NOTE: DOUBLE-SPACE THE PDF PORTION OF YOUR DOCUMENT, BEFORE SUBMITTING THE DOCUMENT TO TURNITIN.

To partner(s), give a copy of your draft document with original poem and PDF.  Also supply your Qmark Tally sheet.  Ask your partner to write marginal comments about Qmark issues and any other parts of the PDF that need greater clarity, specificity or development.

Revise your poem-and-PDF document before submitting it to TURNITIN (“PAN Poem & PDF.revised”).   In the default footer of your document, remember to acknowledge the specific nature of help you have received from whom. The deadline for this revision is midnight Wednesday of this week.

With remaining time, start reading the first part of Heaney’s introduction to his translation of Beowulf (ix-xxii).  Mark the margins of your book with any questions you have about his ideas, sentences or words.
