HW: for Tuesday’s class, read Hamlet thru 2.2.165 (“We will try it.”)

In these lines, Claudius sends two men to figure out Hamlet’s strange behavior, essentially asking them to pose as friends who want to know ow he is doing.

After Claudius makes this request (or command), Polonius comes to Claudius and Gertrude, convinced that he knows the cause of Hamlet’s “distemper.”  He proposes they spy on Hamlet, in order to confirm the old man’s theory.
